The following guide will demonstrate how to deploy a timelog terminal.
Make sure you have the following items before you begin:
- Android Tablet
- Timelog Terminal Enclosure
- Charger and cable long enough to route through the enclosure
Once you have unboxed everything follow the steps below:
- Plug in the tablet and power it up
- In the meantime locate the QR code for the relevant company here QR Code Library
- Tap 7 times on the android welcome screen before device setup to bring up the QR scanner
- Scan the code you downloaded earlier
- Join any Wifi network and press next
- Progress through any remaining prompts until you get to the android home screen
- The device will now configure itself but its worth setting the screen timeout to the maximum allowed in the meantime.
- Build the timelog enclosure as per the instructions in the box while you wait and feed the charging cable through
